The Picture Book of the Week is If I Was a Horse, written an illustrated by Sophie Blackall, a two-time Caldecott Medalist.
About the Book:
If I Was a Horse is about a kid who images themselves as a horse. The kid does everything they normally do — go to school, swim with the swim team, take a bath — and some things they normally don’t do — roll in the mud. Kids can put themselves in a horses hooves while reading this funny picture book that stirs the imagination.
