About the Book:
A girl is surprised one morning when her mother asks her, “Did you know I. have a superpower?” She always thought her parents were just normal people. “You will have the same superpower,” said her Mom. The thought was exciting! What kind of superpower will I have, she thought? Will I fly? Will I travel at the speed of light? Will I breathe underwater? “No,” her mother said to all of these. She would be a different kind of superhero. A hero with the power to vote.
A Superpower For Me illustrates the importance of voting and the power it gives each individual person. The back matter tells the story of historic decisions that were made by one single vote in the U.S.
